During 2012, EACD rented an apartment on the same floor as the main office in Mohandeseen (Meet Okba district, Cairo). Our goal is to establish positive values of "Education through Art” (ETA) in the children, this is through welcoming every Thursday approximately twenty children and adolescents from the neighborhood, this project is managed by two regular members of EACD with the assistance of Egyptian and foreign volunteers.
Before supplying the place with teaching materials in order to welcome our young artists, the apartment needs to be refurbished. Work is needed specifically with the floor, the bathroom, the electrical installation and the painting.
The ETA program enables children and young people to express themselves and apprehend moral values by the taste and the judgment.
